Energy costs are a significant component of our product manufacturing costs, therefore we are undertaking several projects aimed at significantly reducing energy consumption across all areas of the Company’s operations. As a responsible producer, we also place great emphasis on the origin of our energy sources, and therefore we are investing in renewable energy sources and cogeneration processes, which will allow us to complete the energy transformation of our company within the next 2 years.
The public aid received under the “Aid for Energy-Intensive Industry Related to Natural Gas and Electricity Prices in 2023” program, conducted by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, will not only compensate for the high energy costs incurred during the global market turmoil following Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, but will also support our actions in line with an ambitious climate policy.
